#ThanksThursday to Ruiz Food Products, Inc. for spending Earth Day 2018 with us! We were able to pack CARE & SHARE bags, work on our food rescue efforts by salvaging tons of cabbage, and did some much needed work in our Deep Roots Community Garden.Then upon hearing about our break in on Monday morning, they pledged to donate towards restocking our garden tools! Our Earth Day volunteers from Ruiz Foods got so much done in the garden this past Saturday, but what do we come back to on Monday? An empty tool shed! It's so disheartening when we work so hard for the community but face so many obstacles at every turn.
